Yacht Sales is Tom Trainor.
Over the years, Tom Trainor
has devoted over 33 years
to the Northern California
marine industry, at two successful
Sea Ray dealerships, MarineMax/Harrison’s
Marine Centers and Hoig’s
Marine. Tom’s specialty
has always been with the
Sea Ray product. Having
sold Sea Ray’s from
16’
to 65’, Tom not only
understands the needs of
the sport yacht and yacht
customer, he has the product
knowledge to be able to
find the right yacht for
each client.
Tom’s
reputation for honesty, integrity,
his complete familiarity with
all aspects of the marine
industry, and his attention
to detail, allow his clients
to enjoy a high comfort level
as they purchase their next
boat or market their current
one.

Peter
was raised on boats from the
age of 4; and had his own
charter business before the
age of 31, on his 57’ Chris
Craft Constellation,
"De Jevu".
He obtained his Captain’s
license, which he held for over
25 years, and has been in the
Yacht brokerage business for
the last 8 years. As a Captain,
Peter piloted private Motor
Yachts, in excess of 120 feet,
from Canada to Central America.
Some of his more illustrious
clients, features the likes
of Eva Gabor, Merv Griffin,
and the King of Sweden! Peter
now believes he has found a
permanent home with DYS at the
Willow Berm Marina office. We
agree!

Ron
has been affiliated with the Marine
Industry for over 40 years. His
passion for boating coupled with
his appreciation for fine wood
boats, led him to the industry.
He has been selling new and used
boats for over ten years and even
an attempted retirement could
not keep him away from the industry.
Ron joins DYS at the Riverboat
office.

Associate
Broker Nina Ankele' has been
selling quality brokerage boats
in California for
more than 28 years. In
1985, she founded Britannia Yacht
Sales and ran her own brokerage
until September 2007, when she
joined Delta Yacht Sales. For
several years Nina was the Northern
California Dealer for Bestway Yachts
(Taiwan) and had brokerage
offices in Sacramento and Isleton. Born and educated
in England, Nina spent many years watching her elder
brother build sailboats and write books about the experience,
but powerboats have always been her first love. Known
for her honesty, integrity, strong work ethic
and dry British sense of humor (!) Nina has many repeat
customers, some of whom have been buying and selling
their vessels through her for more than 25 years.

WEBSTER
Mel's
Father introduced him
to boating and boat building
as a child. His life
long hobby has been
boating, with experiences
on the waterways
throughout California,
including extensive stays
on the Delta. His first
family boat was a 16’ Cracker
Box built from plans. From
there the hobby grew into
building a 28’ Cabin
Cruiser, a 32’ Houseboat
and a 16’ inboard
speed boat, all from the
ground up, again using
Glen L plans.
Mel has been in sales his
entire career but now he
can combine his life learned
skills with his passion
for the water. It can’t
get any better than that
!!!

JT
has 35 years of boating experience
in the Delta. His love of boating
led him to the marine industry.
He has spent the last 7 years
selling new and used boats
for a large Sea Ray dealer.

emphasis on customer service
has led to a loyal client
base he calls friends.

Marina Office, JT is ready
to assist the Northern California
boater with their boating
needs. JT has been a Delta
resident for the last 5 years
and truly understands the
needs and desires of the
Delta boater. JT enjoys his
time off exploring the Delta
waterways in his 34’ express
cruiser.
